I cooled off a bit about what happened with jeremy on Saturday, and this morning decided to stay until I could find another job.
Until I spent another hour in the office with jeremy because I wore jeans again. I know I know, bad move.
But it turned from "you have violated the dress code" to me crying, to "I don't trust you to run my store. I lost all respect for you. No one does or should trust or respect you, I should have known you were too immature to do this job. Do you even
want to be a supervisor?"
At which point I said "no"
and gave him the date of my last day.
he said, verbatim, "Well, that's pretty shocking". And he meant it.
How can you say those awful things to someone, and be shocked when they decide not to take it?
That wasn't even the worst of what he said, but to recall it all will probably just make me cry again.
So, 20 days until complete CVS-liberation! Guess that's a good thing.
Also the article I did an interview for came out today. I didn't read it all I just skimmed it until I found my name.
If you have an hour to waste:
